About

The Android Ally serves as a desktop software tool designed to provide testers and developers with quicker access to accessibility features on Android devices. Its primary objective is to facilitate and promote Android Accessibility testing. Additionally, it is compatible with emulators, which have posed challenges due to the gesture functionalities utilized by TalkBack. The software functions by interacting with the device settings via the Android Debug Bridge (ADB) to read and write values. This may lead to unexpected behavior on certain devices, so usage is at your own discretion. For more information on these commands, please refer to the help menu. Furthermore, the Android Ally includes an optional accessibility service for Android known as TalkBack for Developers.
